To protect the health and wellness of the participants that apply for the program, there may be circumstances where Wondr declines a member's application to participate. If your participation in the program was declined, it may be due to one of the reasons below.
The number one reason for being declined is you applied for our program though a group that requires active medical insurance coverage and we were not able to verify your coverage. This is usually because of a typo on the insurance number or group number entered on the application. Often the number includes a O (capital letter) but a 0 (number zero) is used instead. You can asking if this might be the case for you by clicking below. We will need all pertinent information including numbers, name and date of birth or a picture of your insurance card to verify your coverage
Other reasons including, our program is not medically recommended if:
- You are pregnant.
- You are currently being treated for an eating disorder.
- Your health care provider has advised against participation in a weight loss program.
- You have a BMI beneath the recommended range for weight loss. (check your BMI here)
If you are enrolling through an employer, there may be additional criteria for participation. Your employer might limit participation based on:
- Employment status.
- BMI and/or risk factors for Metabolic Syndrome.
Check your employer application page for more information regarding your eligibility requirements. Go to the application page and scroll down a bit to Eligibility with a + sign. Click that and the details for your group will display.
