The below information is for participants who have enrolled in the Wondr program through an employer or a health plan that is covering the cost of the program via insurance.
The Wondr (formerly Naturally Slim) program is paid for through your employer-sponsored medical plan, so you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) form electronically or in the mail.
Why is my insurance being charged for the Wondr program?
Your employer or insurance carrier selected this benefit to be covered at 100%, meaning there is never an out-of-pocket fee or cost to you.
What does "covered" by insurance mean?
With Wondr, your insurance will pay for 100% of the program costs for your enrollment and participation in the program.
Why did I receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)?
An explanation of benefits is a document that explains how your insurance processed the claim for the services you received. You are not responsible for any payment of the program. Your EOB should state "this is not a bill" to remind you that it is only for your records. It might state, “you may owe." This is not a charge.
Why does my EOB state “Not Paid” or “Denied”?
Please disregard this. Wondr Health will correct any claims issues, and no action is required on your part. Wondr will never reach out to you for payment, and you may proceed with your Wondr program.
Why does my claim say NS412 or Naturally Slim?
Our digital weight loss benefit rebranded in May 2021 to better convey what the Wondr program is all about. We are working with our partners to update claim's language to Wondr Health, though you may see the former name of Naturally Slim on some insurance communications.
